About this event

The event takes place from Saturday, 13th March to Sunday, 21st March. 160+ speakers from 33 countries and 6 continents are joining us. More than 150+ sessions, talks, panels and workshops take place online. Plus, trainers conduct over 28 hours of hands-on sessions at the Lifelong Learning Institute in Singapore.

The FOSSASIA Summit is a unique event with a broad range of open technology topics such as web and mobile technologies, Javascript, Python, cloud services, artificial intelligence, Open Hardware and production, privacy, security, digital sovereignty, Blockchain, DevOps, databases, kernel and platform, Open Source licences and compliance, open health tech and Covid-19, Open Science, Open Source culture and circular economy.

The first FOSSASIA event took place 2009. Apart from established open source projects the FOSSASIA Summit is a place to discover upcoming developers and new projects in the open tech community in particular from Asia.
